Stone Soup Kitchen: Pumpkin-to-Pie Cooking Workshop on November 17th

Tis the season…for holiday baking!

Before we leave the garden harvest behind for all practical purposes, we have one more way to enjoy the bounty of autumn:

Learn how to simple it is to take a pumpkin and end up with a delicious pie to share with your family this Thanksgiving!

The Urban Patch is partnering with Fall Creek Gardens this winter on cooking and food preservation classes that will allow you to truly experience harvest-to-table dining.

We will meet at Broadway United Methodist Church’s kitchen and take you from start to finish (including a great pie crust recipe that you make in the pan–no rolling!) and you will go home with your own made-from-scratch pumpkin pie and the recipes you need to make more.

Cost:
For each participant, please plan to give a cash donation of $3-4 to cover the cost of the supplies.

Registration:
Make sure to register here so that we have enough for everyone!

The cooking workshop will take place Saturday, November 17th at Broadway United Methodist Church, 609 E 29th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46205.
